Completion and graduation ceremonies for the 2023 academic year
On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, the completion and graduation ceremonies were held. The 10th Workshop on "Bentonite"at NITech.
The 10th Bentonite Study Group was held on March 4 at Nagoya Institute of Technology. Urata (M1), Zaima (B4), and Kyokawa participated in the meeting. We had a good discussion in an environment where we could easily discuss about our daily research results.

The review schedule for master's and bachelor's theses for the academic year 2023 was completed on February 16 (Fri.). Mr. Urata (M1 student) and Kyokawa attended the "9th Bentonite Study Group @ Waseda University" held on December 23rd. As usual, we had heated and honest discussions and had a lot of fun.

We went to Nagano and Gunma to observe the invert construction of a tunnel. Seminar camp was held
A seminar camp was held in Shima City, Mie Prefecture, from November 9 to 11. It seems that the students were able to advance their own research with high concentration and by teaching each other. Thank you very much for your hard work!
New undergraduate student has joined
A new undergraduate student, Yuna Ueno, has joined our laboratory. I hope that she will absorb a lot of things from the seminar and her seniors, and do good research!
Preparation of the experimental environment has been completed.
The experimental environment is ready. We will continue our research by making full use of various equipment such as mechanical testing, chemical analysis, and surface analysis (pretreatment).
