Participated in the 59th Annual Conference of the Japanese Geotechnical Society

Three papers were presented at the 59th Annual Conference of the Japanese Geotechnical Society held in Asahikawa, Japan, from July 22 to 25. We had a chance to ask questions about our own presentations and to listen to other presentations, which we hope will have a positive impact on our future research activities. Thank you for your hard work!
Investigation of heaving factors focusing on crystal structure and adsorbed cation of mudstone / Yoshifumi Kondo, Hiroyuki Kyokawa (NITech), Takahiro Inagaki, Kenta Morishita, Ryota Shiragane and Chihiro Morita (NEXCO-Central)
Mechanical characteristics of tuber halloysite clay minerals / Haruki Zaima and Hiroyuki Kyokawa (NITech)
Simulation of swelling pressure tests using HMC finite element method considering the surface phenomena on mineral crystal / Ryhuhei Urata and Hiroyuki Kyokawa (NITech)
