Professor Rao Martand Singh (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) visited our laboratory for a short-term stay and engaged in research exchange.

From March 16 to March 27, Professor Rao Martand Singh from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology stayed at our laboratory. During his visit, he delivered lectures and engaged in research exchange on his area of expertise, Energy Geotechnics—particularly Energy Pile technology—with researchers and students from Nagoya Institute of Technology, the University of Tokyo, and Kyoto University.

Although the stay was short, it was an intensive and highly productive two weeks. His visit greatly enhanced our motivation, and we hope to contribute to the advancement of Energy Geotechnics in Japan through future collaborative research.
