The lab members went on a trip to Fukui.

On September 7–8, our lab members took a trip to Fukui. On the first day, we learned about annual varves and geology at the Annual Varve Museum, stayed overnight in a traditional Japanese house, and had a barbecue. On the second day, we visited Eiheiji Temple and the Fukushima Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. Although it was a completely private trip, we ended up talking quite a bit about geology... Thank you to everyone who organized the trip for your thoughtfulness. We were able to have conversations we don’t usually have, and I think it was a great way to refresh ourselves and deepen our bonds. Let’s do it again!
