Attending the 21st International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ICSMGE) and giving a presentation.

From June 14 to 19, 2026, I attended and presented at the 21st International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ICSMGE) held in Vienna, Austria. As one of the largest conferences in the field of geotechnical engineering, held once every four years, the conference itself was a great learning experience, and I was able to spend a very meaningful time meeting acquaintances from various countries in person. The presentation was given by Yoshifumi Kondo, who completed his master’s degree last year. Even though it was a poster session, I was impressed by how actively he engaged in discussions with international participants. Well done.
